Get ready! I couldn’t be more excited to take Phloem down this road to educational outreach. I feel that I am finally finding the balance between my passion for education, soil health, and flowers. I look forward to spending the summer teaching kiddos all about my passions and being outside!

We are going to dive into all things gardening and flowers. Kids are going to learn the ins and outs of flower farming. However, they will also get science lessons, tailored to the cohort of kids, regarding plant and soil science. We have a fancy microscope on the farm to look at soil samples and to explore the parts of the plant. We will dive into ecosystems and biodiversity, as well as art and nature journaling. There are so many fun things to do on the farm, and each week will be different. Feel free to sign up for one or all four weeks.

Every winter has me thinking about summer, and I love planning for all of the fun we will have.

To learn more, send me an email at phloemflowers@gmail.com

If you want to sign up, go to the form on the website. There is no fee to do this, and I will reach out to you about registration. Based on interest, I anticipate hosting a waiting list, so this first step allows me to process the registrations on a first-come, first-served basis.
