Great things coming our way

This week the flowers have really started to grow! I have had to double the amount of lights I have to keep up with all of the seedlings. This week we have also started to create the garden beds outside. We are at a new location, and we were not able to start the beds in the fall like we wanted to. So, this weekend is all about cultivating the soil. In the future we would like to be a no-till flower farm. However, to get started and to make sure we have the right nutrients we have to mix in some organic matter and different minerals. I really enjoy being outside in the soil. The weather has been warmer and everything is finally starting to turn green. In the next couple of weeks I am hoping we will be able to put some cold tolerant annuals in our hoop house!
