This week on the farm, we have been hauling all of the compost onto the flower garden. Since we do not have a tractor, we shoveled all 5 yards of compost by hand into a wagon. To say that I am getting my exercise this week is an understatement! I just keep telling myself that it is making me healthier person… and I am also excited for the flowers. This morning we were able to plant more flowers outside into the new plot. With the way the weather works. I am hoping to have everything planted outside by the end of the weekend.

As we draw closer to our first farmers market on Thursday, May 26th from 4:30 – 7:30 pm in St. Albans Bay, I am getting very excited. We will have bouquet garden kits, flower related crafts, and hopefully (let’s see how the weather treats us) a few bouquets up for grabs! I look forward to learning how to open my new canopy for market day. Please reach out if you have any questions or requests!
